1 a) All bookings are by prebooking only and must be confirmed within seven days, with a deposit as specified by the company before it is accepted as a possible booking.
b) On wedding and special hire, e.g. daily hire, Ascott,etc . payment in full must be received by our office at least 60 days before date of hire, if payment is not received by the date, the booking will automatically be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
2 a) In the event of cancellation any deposit would be forfeited, however in unavoidable circumstances, deposits may be refunded at the discretion of the company.
b) In the event of cancellation of a short term booking , notice must be received in writing 72 hrs prior to commencement of hire or full payment is due
c) No refund will be given on the full payment made by The Hirer if cancellation is made after the 60 day period stated above.
3 As a booking requires a final payment to be made by you when taking supply of the booked vehicle(s) on the day of hire, all bookings must be made by, and under the name of the card holder (YOU), who will be named as ‘party leader’ . We must speak to the card holder to confirm identity prior to any payment being taken by us. We may also request your year of birth only, prior to your booking being accepted.
4 we reserve the right to refuse or terminate a booking should we believe a booking has been placed using deceptive or fraudulent means, and additionally to instruct relevant authorities to deceptive methods used to obtain products or services with us by you or any member of your party.
5 We will not be held responsible for financial or personal loss to you or your group in the event of mechanical failures and events beyond our control. Events beyond our control include (but are not limited to) war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire, epidemics, technical problems with transport including changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of hire by us or alteration of the vehicle or vehicle type for reasons beyond our control: closed or congested roads, villages towns and cities, hurricanes, other actual or potential severe weather conditions (whether materialised or not), and any other similar events, Whether this effects timings of pick-ups and/or cancellation of the hire at immediate notice to you whether your hire period has indeed begun or not.
Cavendish Limousines accept no responsibility for restricted vehicle access (hump back bridges, width restrictions etc) at any location and are not liable for delays caused by re-routed journeys.
6 Should your vehicle be unavailable, we will endeavour to match your booked vehicle with an equivalent model. We are therefore unable to guarantee any specifications to vehicles, including (but not limited to): interior features, possible decorative themes, and colour scheme (including body colour) of your vehicle.
7 The company reserves the right at any time to change/replace or renew the vehicle/s booked or advertised in order to maintain the companies high standard. The replacement vehicle would be of the same type as originally booked and duly notified to the hirer.
8 The consumption of food/food products and such like is not permitted inside the vehicle.
9 The hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the vehicle/s by the Hirer or any member of his/her party, how so ever caused. This includes incitement to any third party, which results in damage to the vehicle or its contents. The hirer will be liable to pay the company a fixed daily rate (determined by the company) while the vehicle is out of such commission for such repairs plus any further incurred losses i.e. by lost booking.
10 The company or its representative (e.g. chauffeur) reserves the right to refuse entry to the vehicle to any person/persons they deem unfit for whatsoever reason and can refuse to continue the journey if any person/persons behave in a manner which may be detrimental to other person or to the booking(i..e. additional pick up points, of venue causing extra mileage or time).
11 Any extra requests or alterations to the booking (i.e. additional pick up points, change of venue causing extra mileage or time)will be permitted no later than 7 days prior to hire and may not necessarily be entertained, although every effort will be made to meet the requirements of the hirer. Any such alterations would in most cases involve an extra charge being levied on the original quotation.
12 A £100.00 valeting charge will be levied through misuse by The Hirer from food, drink or illness or whatever the retail cost may be if in excess of this amount to rectify said damage caused.
13 Once a booking is made and confirmed and deposit paid, the price quoted to the hirer will not be subject to alteration unless there is any deviation from the details of the booking (See condition 11).
14 The companies discretion shall be decided by the partners of the company at all times and their decisions will be fully binding in all matters.
15 Hire times will be deemed to have started at the time that the vehicle/s leave the company premises to the time that they return.
16 The hirer is liable for all glasswear breakages at a replacement cost of £10.00 per glass payable by cash on the spot.
17 Due to insurance restrictions/Licencing Authorites our limousines have been designated NON SMOKING. Any infringement of this policy will deem the rental invalid, all moneys paid will be forfeited and the rental terminated immediately.
18 Any overrun of booked time will be charged at £75.00 per hour and must be paid for at the time of the rental in case(Full hours only)Cash only before over run commences.
19 All passengers should be out 5 minutes prior leaving time limo will leave on time anybody left behind will not be our responsibility.
Airport Journeys
20 The amount of passengers and suitcases will be determined at the time of booking and must not be exceeded due to weight & space restrictions.
Charges for Airport collections include the first thirty(30)minutes wait after the flight has landed and any additional time will be charged at the over time rate of (£25) per completed Half(1/2) Hour. Excessive delays may forfeit your return journey as other bookings may have been taken for the limousine on that day. You must call our office at the first instance from your departure airport to confirm details. Re-routed flights may not be able to be met by us and additional charges may be charged to the client. Check with your travel insurance company to see if you are covered for these costs.
21 Passengers in forward facing seats are required by law to wear seatbelts and for your safety we advise the wearing of seatbelts by all passengers. Baby seats should be used in forward facing seats only. |
